John 1:1-14

Why is the birth of Christ the most important event in human history? Why is it so significant that at the heart of history, God became a man? Because, in the incarnation, the Word of God and the Light of God have been made flesh. Through the veil of Jesus' flesh the eyes of faith perceive the Word and Light of God through whom one must be re-created and restored unto relationship with the Father. The person of Christ is now the place where one must meet God, see God, and find God's grace.
