Genesis 48-50

As we conclude our sermon series through Genesis, we turn to chapters 48–50 to uncover the unmistakable thread of God’s sovereign plan that weaves through the lives of Jacob, Joseph, and their descendants. These final chapters reveal how God orchestrates His purposes—even when unseen—through adoption, election, and restoration, all of which foreshadow the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. From Jacob’s prophetic blessing to Joseph’s gracious forgiveness, we witness divine providence triumphing over human frailty, reminding us that nothing can thwart the will of God, and His purposes always prevail.
