The Separation

God calls all believers to "walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called." (Eph 4:1). That means you are to live in a manner that is distinctly different before you were a Christian. Before you were a believer, you followed the "course of the world," and according to the "passions of [your] flesh," and were "by nature [a] child of wrath." (Eph 2:1-3). Now, Christians are not to live without distinction from unbelievers (Eph 4:17), but are to have renewed minds by putting on the "new self" and be live distinctly and separately.
