Deep Mercy in Dark Clouds

Grief. It comes in all forms and fashions, because loss comes in all shapes and sizes. From death to disease, the results of loss are aches and agony, and our response is sorrow and sadness. There are seemingly innumerable ways we suffer and grieve.

We know that Jesus saves us from sin, but does give us grace in our grief? Isaiah 53:3 tells us that Jesus was man of sorrows who was acquainted with grief. However, Jesus is not only acquainted with his own grief; he is acquainted with your grief (Hebrews 4:15). And Jesus is not only acquainted with your grief, he walks with you through your grief (John 16:33).

So, how do we glorify God as he walks with us in the midsts of our suffering and grief?
