The Cure for Unjust Anger
Anger is one of the most destructive, if not the most destructive, behavior pattern in human history. From the beginning of the existence of man, when Cain murdered Abel, anger has been an infection that has plagued humanity that is stricken with the disease of sin.
Angry people destroy marriages, families, churches, and even whole civilizations. Even worse, they destroy the relationship between man and God, because it comes from a desire to be God. With the ubiquity of anger in our culture and ourselves, how are we to honor God? How do we understand anger so that we might be “slow to anger,” and honor God?
Let’s dig in and discuss how God’s Word helps us to understand anger so that we might honor God with our thoughts, words, attitudes, and emotions.
